The Guernsey Netball Association is looking for a Volunteer Chair to join our Board of Directors. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of netball in Guernsey, strengthen community and business partnerships, and drive forward a charity dedicated to empowering women and girls through sport.

You’ll be supported by a team of committed directors, working together to grow participation, nurture talent, and ensure netball thrives at every level.

Job Description

The Guernsey Netball Association is seeking a dynamic Volunteer Chair to lead our committed Board of Directors. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about empowering people through sport, and dedicated to driving our charity forward.

Key Responsibilities:

● Provide strategic leadership and represent the Association with integrity and vision.

● Champion opportunities for women and girls in netball, ensuring opportunities are provided across the GNA

● Build and strengthen business and community relationships to support the charity’s sustainability.

● Lead by example, inspiring the board directors to lead and develop the sport from the board room to the court.

● Work collaboratively with fellow directors to deliver programmes and initiatives that make a lasting impact.

What We’re Looking For:

● A strong advocate for sport and particularly supportive of women and girls in sport.

● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

● Strategic thinking with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

● Commitment to advancing the aims and objectives of the Guernsey Netball Association.
