That Weekend Winning Feeling

10th December 2018

It was a fantastic weekend for The Peninsula Panthers in the UK and the Saffery Panthers in Guernsey this weekend, as they emerged undefeated from their 3 games.

In the UK the U14 Peninsula Panthers were in action on Saturday against Trinity.

1st qtr 8-8,
2nd qtr 17-17,
3rd qtr 27-26
final 34-34.

It was a brilliant final quarter! Trinity went on a run of 4 goals but the Peninsula Panthers pulled it back with 6 seconds on the clock. It was a Panther’s center pass, ball flew to Emma Sykes who dropped a shot from the circle edge in the dying seconds! 🎉

On Sunday the Peninsula Panthers took on Rudgwick and emerged winners 52 – 19. A great team performance and a fantastic end to the year coming home with 8 points out of a possible 10. Well done ladies!!

On home soil, it was the turn of the Saffery Panthers taking on Woodley at Beau Sejour. A fantastic 53-37 win for Saffery Guernsey Panthers in an incredibly well contested game. Well played Woodley, the Guernsey girls were made to work hard for that win! It’s the fifth win on the bounce for the Saffery Panthers 💪🏼💚🖤

Players of the match went to Nena Copperwaite & Woodley GA.
